The Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education and the Ohio Arts Council have joined together to create the 2010 Ohio Arts Education Survey to determine the status and condition of arts education at the school level.
The online survey site is now open. Please complete these steps:
1. Download a copy of the survey information gathering tool and the instructions (located in the right hand column of this page). If you have a problem with the download, email Donna Collins (dcollins@oaae.net) to receive these documents via email.
2. Print out the survey tool and review the questions.
3. Determine who is the best person to provide the information for each question. Work with your Arts Education staff to gather information requested and write the answers on the survey tool.
4. Once all the information is gathered you are ready to enter survey answers into the online system.
5. A special email has been sent to every principal in Ohio with the specific link for that school. This is a special link designed specifically each individual school. Please click on the link. (Note: If you have not received your link please send an email to: bob@artsedresearch.org)
6. Once completed, print out, sign and fax back the Survey Certification Form.
The deadline for entering your school's data is April 30, 2010
If at any time you have questions regarding the survey, or your next steps, please contact Donna Collins, Ohio Alliance for Arts Education at 614-224-1060 or Nancy Pistone, Ohio Department of Education at 614-466-7908. They are at your service.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your school’s arts education information with us.
Its a great news. Thanks for sharing.
